Ishiya Chocolate Factory also known as White lovers' Park, 白恋人パーク located at Miyanozawa subway station. This is the most go for tourists as you get to understand how chocolate is produced from cocoa, you also get to see the production of the famous White Lover's biscuit. If time and budget allow, you can attend cookie and chocolate making session. There is a cafe for parents who need not accompany kids in the course.
Both entry and courses need to pay.

You can visit the building nearby for their merchandise, restaurants and Candy Labo ( Handmade rock sugar : http://www.shiroikoibitopark.jp/shop/candylabo.html

The outdoor park is free and this is the fun area which kids are roam around the small houses for hours even during winter. There is a train ride every 30mins till 4.30pm ( time and schedule change according to season). Do take note that train ride will cease early Dec till end Apr of the following year.

We were lucky that we took the train on the last day of operation!

Please take note that during Winter ( From end Nov to Mid Apr), temperature is lower than in Sapporo city. In addition, wind is strong so the temperature can be 3 to 7 degree celsius lower. Please make sure to prepare your winterwear well and not caught in the cold rush!)

Direction: Tozai subway Miyanozawa. From the map in the station, it will recommend exit 5 which is getting out of the underpass, walking outdoor. I will recommend to walk thru Seiyu and straight down to student centre ( 札幌市生涯学習センター).
You will walk pass Macdonald , Ramen shop and toilet before reaching the glass door of the student
centre. Upon getting out of the student centre, you can see Chocolate factory just opposite the road.
