1 month budget travel with kids in Hokkaido (19) Where to stay

30th Sept 2015

One of the expenses that can't be avoid is the stay during the trip. Different people like different style and price range, therefore, the below are different categories found in Hokkaido.

The one I have chosen :
I was first attracted to AIRBNB by their interesting travel advertisement. All the landmarks are hand made and presented creatively.
You can find cheap range to luxury range;
apartments, home stay, dormitory, big family room, hostels;
in all over the world and the list of lodging is increasing too
Use this code and you enjoy a deduction of $25 for your first stay ( based on May 2015)

The other option I had and have been using it since the day they were established. Toyoko Inn is a widely found in every prefecture in Japan, Busan,Korea and expanding to China too.
The attraction is not only the price, it's free buffet breakfast! & free wifi! On top of that, in some prefectures, they even provide free dinner! Simple Japanese business hotels that have bath tub bigger than Japanese residential ones, yet smaller than the standard hotel in Singapore, it is still consider comfortable. If you join membership before checking in, you get to enjoy member discount too!

Would you like to enjoy big room and comfortable services or even onsen included? You value your own private space very much and want to have the whole apartment to yourself and family?
Or it is just a place to sleep, as long as it is clean, size does not matter? You are open to have cultural exchange with a local host and maybe get to know more foreigners in the same area?
